Origin Living Tea Tree essential oil, also known as melaleuca, is well-known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It has potential to work as a natural remedy for acne and other inflammatory skin conditions, including eczema and psoriasis. It has powerful antiseptic properties to treat wounds and antifungal properties to treat toenail fungus. Due to its antibacterial properties, Tea tree essential oil can be used to make homemade cleaning products and to kill toxic mould that’s growing in your home.

Indications:

• Fight Acne and Other Skin Conditions:  Use diluted in a carrier oil, as a natural remedy for acne and other inflammatory skin conditions, including eczema and psoriasis.
• Improve Dry Scalp:  Add to shampoo to relieve symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis that causes itchy scalp and dandruff symptoms.
• Anti-Fungal:  Use to prevent fungal infections like candida, jock itch, toenail fungus and athlete’s foot. Use undiluted on toenail fungus 2 drops, 2-3 times daily. Let it dry before wearing socks and shoes.
• Cough: To use tea tree for your cough, diffuse 5 drops at home or work, inhale it directly from the bottle, or dilute 1–2 drops with a half teaspoon of coconut oil and rub it into your chest and back of your neck.
• Wounds:  Dilute in coconut oil, put on a clean cotton ball and dab on the wound to accelerate healing.
• Lice treatment:  Combine 5ml Tea Tree oil with 45ml coconut oil to kill and remove head lice. Massage into hair, comb through and cover with plastic shower cap for 2 hours. Wash hair thoroughly.
• Home cleaner:  Diffuse 5 drops around your home to help clean the air. Use 5-10 drops Tea Tree and 5-10 drops Lemon essential oils in 500ml vinegar and 500ml boiled, cooled water. Pour in a spray bottle and use to clean surfaces. Also use to kill black mould by spraying onto the mould directly.
• Insect repellent & bug bite soother: Add a few drops to water in spray bottle and use as an insect repellent or dilute in coconut oil and rub onto bug bite to soothe.

Tea tree essential oil  is safe for topical use but is known to be poisonous if swallowed. Tea tree essential oil should NOT be taken by mouth for any reason.
