- Teeth Whitener: Use in coconut oil to do oil pulling in your mouth to whiten teeth. Use 1 tablespoon coconut oil with a 1-2 drops lemon essential oil and swish around in your mouth for 20 min. Discard in a bin and not the drain. You can also mix lemon essential oil, baking soda and coconut oil and rub the combination on your teeth for 2 minutes before rinsing.
- Home cleaning product: Want to steer away from alcohol and bleach to disinfect your countertops and clean your mouldy shower? Add 40 drops of lemon essential oil and 20 drops of tea tree essential oil to a 500ml spray bottle. Fill with 250ml purified water and 250ml white vinegar for a traditional cleaning favourite. This natural cleaning product can be used to kill toxins and bacteria in your home, especially in places like your kitchen and bathroom. Lasts for up to 30 days.
